Hello all, my name is Lauren Roxas, but I tell everyone to call me Lucky. My grandmother gave me this nickname since I was born because I came out with one ear. She announced that I was “lucky” enough to have an ear. I mostly tell everyone this story when I meet them because it’s probably the first time they made a friend named Lucky. Back when I was in grade school, I use to get super embarrassed of my real name, Lauren, because I felt it was a girl’s name and my classmates would think I’m a girl due to my massive bowl cut hair.
